Bag Tags and Large Item Stickesr are for
sale At all Dahls and Hy-Vee customers services centers
or at City Hall and Artistic Waste Services, Inc.
corporate headquarters.
Bag Tags are for:
Extra Trash Pick Up Tags are for the following:
- One tag per waste bag
- Place the tag around the neck of
the bag
- Maximum weight: 30 Pounds
- Maximum size: 30 Gallons
Appliance or White
Goods Disposal
These items are considered appliances: refrigerators,
stoves, washers, dryers, dehumidifiers, microwaves,
freezers, water heaters, furnaces, dishwashers, and
air-conditioners. They contain CFCs and PCBs and can be
damaged when not properly handled. It will take 7 Large
Item Stickers to have an appliance picked up and must be
called in to set up a collection time. 262-4040
Large items Pick-Up
Examples of large items are pieces of furniture or other
residential waste materials with a weight or volume
greater than that normally allowed for bags or
containers and small amounts of construction of
construction debris and building waste materials. Carpet
and construction materials should be cut and tied in
4'-5' sections not to exceed 50 pounds in weight. Bag
tags and Large sticker items are picked up the same day
as your trash. They are for sale at all Dahls and Hy-Vee
customers services centers or at City Hall and Artistic
Waste Services, Inc. corporate headquarters.

About Artistic’s Expanded Collection
Programs
Artistic Waste Services offers weekly collection of
trash, recycling and yardwaste that is normally
generated by single family homes. Occasionally, our
residential customers have special disposal needs that
include items that they’re not sure how to throw away.
Artistic’s expanded collection programs can help you
dispose of these items in an environmentally safe and
cost effective way.
How Do You Arrange for these Services?
All the programs are available weekly.
The dates and times of the services vary, depending on
where you live. Most of the services can be arranged by
